How do I earn UChoose Rewards points?

You can earn UChoose points in four different ways:

1. Debit Card Purchases:
You'll earn the following for your everyday debit card purchases:

i. Earn 1 point for every $4 spent on a signature-based transaction (where you select the ‘credit’ option, rather than entering your PIN).

ii. Earn additional points with each purchase when you shop at select retailers. See a complete list of participating retailers at UChooseRewards.com.

2. Balances
Earn 1 point for every $1,000** of deposit, loan, investment or wealth management balances.

3. New Accounts
Earn one-time bonus points when you open a new account. Points accumulate monthly.

4. Featured Retailer Purchases 
UChoose features select nationwide retailers monthly which, if you purchase from them, you'll earn extra rewards points above the normal purchase points. After signing up for UChoose Rewards, you'll receive emails letting you know which retailers are featured.

Yes. As long as your card is registered at UChooseRewards.com, you will earn reward points. If you just received your UCreate card, you will need to register that at UChooseRewards.com.

Why do the rewards update emails I receive show loyalty points earned two months ago?

The monthly emails you receive from MutualBank are updates on your LOYALTY points, not points you get from using your MutualBank debit or credit card. These loyalty points take roughly two months for us to process internally and so that's why you'll find reference to two months prior in these emails.

To check your real-time point balance including both loyalty points and points you earn from using your MutualBank cards, log on to uchooserewards.com.
